This Saturday, the A Division’s only two unbeaten teams come face-to-face.  St Albans are at home to Fairwater.  In an important match for both teams, Whitchurch play Pentyrch.  Surprisingly, Whitchurch have yet to win in the league this season and will be keen to get their first points on the board.  Pentyrch, who are adapting well to life in the A Division will be keen to build on their first league win.  And with a good win in the cup recently Pentyrch have every reason to be confident.  Pentwyn have a tough home game against Butetown who are also adapting well to life in the A Division.

In the B Division, the Caerau Ely against Grangetown looks like a game too close to call.
Grangetown have won all their games so far and will be confident.  Caerau have only played once, earning a hard fought draw, but they are one of the league’s fancied teams.  Canton Rangers are away to Marshfield, who have yet to play this season.  Canton will be keen to maintain their challenge at the top of the table, while Marshfield will be keen for their delayed start to the season to begin with a win.  Ty Celyn and Marlboro Red will also be keen for wins to sustain their unbeaten form.

The pick of the games in the C Division is probably the Gwaelod Rangers v Dragons.  Both teams have had excellent starts and will be looking to secure the top spot.  Another interesting game in this division is the Marlboro White match against Grangetown Athletic.  Marlboro have also had a good start winning both their opening games.  Grangetown won their opening game, but it was a ‘see-saw’ affair.  But their performance in the cup against A Division Pentwyn makes them a team to watch out for.
