Results Update.
So far, so good. Let's hope the weather holds out for this weekend's football fixtures. St Albans will be looking to sustain their momentum at the top of the table with a home game against third place Fairwater. Similarly, Rhiwbina Black will be looking to sustain their momentum with a home tie against Maindy.
In an important match for both teams, Whitchurch play Pentyrch. Whitchurch's form has been up and down, but seems to be settling. Pentyrch have shown they can produce quality football and will be keen to get a result. Pentwyn have a tough home game against Marlboro Black. These are two well matched teams and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
In the B Division, second place Caerau Ely take on third place Grangetown in a game that looks too close to call. Canton Rangers are away to Marshfield. Canton will be keen to maintain their place at the top of the table, while Marshfield will be keen to maintain their unbeaten run. But this will be Marshfield's only second game of the season. Ty Celyn and Marlboro Red will also be keen for wins to sustain their push for a top place.
The pick of the games in the C Division is without doubt the Gwaelod Rangers v Dragons. Both teams have had excellent starts and will be vying for the top spot. Another interesting game in this division is the Marlboro White match against Grangetown Athletic. Marlboro are three points ahead of Grangetown Athletic but have played two games more.
