This Saturday's Cardiff & District football fixtures look as though they have a reasonable chance of going ahead. The rain has eased off and the dry spell looks set to continue into the weekend. There might be a problem with frost, but with luck the temperatures won't drop too low. Third place Fairwater are away to fourth place Marlboro Black. Fairwater will be looking to get back to winning ways while Marlboro Black seem to be settling again after a difficult period. Having not had a fixture for a couple of weeks, Butetown are back in action against Pentwyn, who are undefeated in three matches and settling into their fluid style of football.
In the B Division, Grangetown will be looking to hold on to top place when they play Rumney. But Rumney have shown plenty of times that they are capable of brining off shock results. Second place Caerau Ely are at home to fourth place Marlboro Red in what promises to be another close game in what is turning out to be a very competitive division this season.
In the C Division, Dragons will be looking to go back to the top of the division if they can get a victory against Lisvane Orange. Current leaders, Grangetown Athletic, are without a fixture. Following their exit from the cup two weeks ago, Gwaelod Rangers will be looking to maintain their unbeaten record in the league when they take on Maindy.
