Cardiff & District U16 Cup Semi Final Results w/c 13 April 2014

Results of Cardiff & District U16 Semi Finals and league Fixtures week commencing 13 April 2014  . The Cardiff & District U16 League Results for week commencing 13 April, 2013/14 football season are detailed below. This has been a bust final week of the 2013/14 season for most U16 clubs.  Marlboro Red clinched the B Division title last Saturday and with Pentwyn defeating Butetown on Thursday evening it means Rhiwbina take the A Division title.  Congratulations to these teams. While proving to be 'kingmakers' in the league, Pentwyn lost out to Whitchurch in the semi-finals of the Cup.  And it has not been a good week for Butetown as they also lost out to Ty Celyn Black in the semi-final.  For many of the players, these will be the final days of their junior football experience.  Hopefully, many will go on to play in the youth leagues.    It would be interesting to know how many of this year’s clubs plan to set up youth teams.
