This weekend sees the first round of the Cardiff & District U16
Cup competition. It's a chance for the clubs in the lower leagues to see how they fare against the A Division teams. Top of the C Division, Cardiff Hibs, who are on an unbeaten run, are at home to Pentyrch Rangers and will fancy themselves to spring a surprise. Pentyrch will need to be on their guard. Likewise A Division Fairwater have a tricky home tie against Marlboro Red who sit on top of the B Division.
In Saturday's only A Division match, Rhiwbina are at home to Pentwyn. When they met earlier in the season the result was a draw. Both teams will be keen for a win. Pentwyn will want to make amends for letting slip a three goal lead in their earlier match, while Rhiwbina know they can claim top spot if they win.
