This Saturday's football fixtures, 17 November 2012, include the second round of the Cardiff & District Cup. In a repeat of last week's league fixture, St Albans are again at home to Fairwater. St Albans will be keen to convert more of their opportunities on goal this time round. Meanwhile, Fairwater's self-belief will have grown after their performance last week. This promises to be an intriguing match.
C Division Dragons, who have been of fire this season, take on A Division Llanedeyrn and are capable of providing a cup upset. C Division high fliers Marlboro White and Gwaelod Rangers meet up in the Cup and is another game that promises to be a close fought affair.
In the A Division, Rhiwbina Black are at home to Whitchurch and have the chance to put some distance between themselves and third place Fairwater. Whitchurch will be keen to get back to winning ways. In the B Division the Caerau Ely v Canton Rangers match will be a chance for one of the teams to pull away from the other and perhaps secure the top spot. But that will depend on Grangetown, who will be looking to hold on to top spot with a win against Marshfield. In the C Division, Grangetown Athletic will have a chance to catch up on their games in hand. If they win against Llanedeyrn they will go to the top of the division.
