As expected, the top-of-the-table clash between St Albans and Rhiwbina was a highly competitive match. But St Albans just had the edge with the speed and quality of their passing game. It was the St Albans pressure that forced mistakes in the Rhiwbina defence to give them a 3-0 lead at half-time. The Buns added another two goals in the second half to run out 5-0 winners, stretching their lead at the top of the table to eleven points. Marlboro Black announced their return to action following the enforced winter layoff with an emphatic 7 - 1 win. Butetown edged back into third place with an away draw against Llanedeyrn.

In the highly competitive B Division, Caerau Ely have now gone to the top following their 5-2 win on Saturday. In the C Division, Dragons 15 - 2 win means they have opened up a large gap at the top of the table.
