Welsh National Final: Cardiff Schools 2 V 1 Wrexham Schools

Congratulations to Cardiff Schools who met Wrexham Schools in the Welsh National Final at the TNS Ground in Oswestry.

In what was a close fought game, Alfie Gower (Rhiwbina Black) and Ulrich Emaleu (St Albans) gave Cardiff Schools a two goal lead going into half-time.  In the second half, Wrexham fought back hard and finally pulled a goal back in the 78th minute.  This made for a very nervy final two minutes plus added time.  But Cardiff held out for a 2 - 1 victory and the Welsh National Schools Cup.
