NEW SEASON: Cardiff & District U16s Football 2013/14

Looking Ahead to the New Football Season . Based on the finishing places in the various divisions last season, it is expected the make-up of the three U16s divisions for 2013/14 will be as shown below.  This might well change before the start of the season depending on final team registrations. Many will have no doubt heard St Albans will not be competing this season.  Following two highly successful seasons in which they achieved consecutive doubles, the St Albans U16 team has withdrawn from the league.  However, it is a good news story.  Six of the St Albans team have been offered trials with the Newport County Academy and as a result the management decided it was best for St Albans to withdraw from this year's league.  The remaining St Albans players have been signed up by other Cardiff & District teams and will add considerable strength to their respective squads.   We wish them and all the teams in this year's Cardiff & District competition the very best of luck for the coming season.
